1. To get rid of the boat and shadow I used the Spot healing tool and the Healing brush.
2. I then added a puppy playing with a soccer ball on the wharf by cutting the dog out using the Quick Selection tool and then inverse deleting. Once I placed the dog into my original picture I used the Eraser tool to get rid of excess grass around the edges of him, and then I went into Effects, Drop Shadow to add a shadow for the dog.
3. I changed the color of the yellow shed by using the Quick selection tool, and then created a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer to change only its color.
4. Finally I used the Quick selection tool to select the sky, avoiding all the houses by the water, and deleted it. I then placed a picture of a dark cloudy sky on a bottom layer so that it appeared behind my original picture, replacing the old sky.
